tamale
Steamed corn pocket
A tamale is a Mexican dish of seasoned meat, cheese, or other filling wrapped in corn dough (masa), then wrapped in a corn husk or banana leaf and steamed.
The wrapping is removed before eating.
We ordered a dozen tamales for the party.
The phrase hot tamale can mean an attractive or sexually exciting person.
