sexual identity

Who you desire

Sexual identity is a person's sense of themselves as a sexual being—encompassing sexual orientation, desires, and how one relates to others sexually.

It overlaps with but differs from gender identity: sexual identity concerns who you're attracted to and how you experience desire, while gender identity concerns who you are.
