genderfluid

Not fixed gender

Genderfluid describes a person whose gender identity shifts over time rather than remaining fixed.

Someone who is genderfluid may feel more masculine some days, more feminine others, or move between other gender identities entirely.

The term emerged from online communities in the early 2010s and is now part of standard LGBTQ+ vocabulary: My partner is genderfluid and uses different pronouns depending on how they're feeling.
