sex education
Birds and bees
Sex education is instruction about human sexuality, reproduction, and related topics—typically offered in schools to adolescents.
Programs vary widely: some focus narrowly on anatomy and abstinence, others cover contraception, consent, relationships, and sexual health.
My school's sex education was just one awkward afternoon with diagrams.
Often shortened to sex ed.
