scripter
Writes automated sequences
A scripter is someone who writes scripts, whether for film, television, theater, or computing.
In entertainment contexts, scripter is an informal alternative to screenwriter or scriptwriter.
In gaming and software communities, a scripter writes automated scripts or macros—sometimes to enhance functionality, sometimes to cheat: The server banned scripters who used aimbots.
The term can carry either neutral or pejorative connotations depending on context.
