loops
Curves crossing themselves
Loops are curved shapes that double back on themselves, forming closed or nearly closed circuits: a loop of rope, a loop in a roller coaster.
In computing, a loop is code that repeats until a condition is met.
To loop is to form such a shape or to repeat: The song kept looping in my head.
To be in the loop is to be informed; out of the loop means excluded from information.
To throw someone for a loop is to surprise or confuse them.
