sacristy
Church preparation room
A sacristy is a room in a church where vestments, sacred vessels, and other liturgical items are stored.
Clergy and altar servers typically use it to prepare before services.
In Catholic and Orthodox churches, the sacristy often adjoins the sanctuary: The priest vested in the sacristy before Mass.
