pectoralis
Torso's frontal muscle
Pectoralis is the anatomical term for the chest muscles, from the Latin word for breast.
The pectoralis major is the large fan-shaped muscle covering the upper chest; the pectoralis minor lies beneath it.
In casual speech, these muscles are called pecs: He's been working on his pecs at the gym.
