pagan
Worships old gods
A pagan is someone who follows a polytheistic or nature-based religion, or more loosely, anyone outside the major monotheistic faiths.
Historically, Christians used the term for non-Christians, often disparagingly.
Today pagan often describes modern practitioners of revived pre-Christian traditions like Wicca or Druidry: She identifies as pagan and celebrates the solstices.
The word can also mean irreligious or hedonistic: his pagan disregard for conventional morality. (Capitalized Pagan emphasizes identity with modern religious movements.)
