incantation
Wizard's spoken formula
An incantation is a sequence of words spoken or chanted to produce a magical effect—a spell or charm: The witch muttered an incantation over the cauldron.
The term extends to any ritualistic or repetitive verbal formula, whether mystical or merely formulaic: The coach's pregame incantation to his players never varied.
