beliefs

What you accept

Beliefs are things that a person accepts as true or real, whether or not they can be proven.

They range from the mundane I have a belief that it will rain tomorrow to the profound, encompassing religious convictions, political ideologies, and moral principles.

Unlike knowledge, beliefs don't require evidence—people hold beliefs based on faith, intuition, upbringing, or personal experience.

Someone's beliefs often shape their worldview and guide their actions.
