multirotor
Multi-propeller aerial vehicle
A multirotor is an aircraft lifted and propelled by multiple rotors—typically four (quadcopter), six, or eight.
Unlike helicopters with a single main rotor, multirotors achieve stability and control by varying the speed of individual motors.
The term usually refers to small unmanned drones used for aerial photography, racing, or surveillance: She flies a multirotor for real estate videos.
