Arctic summer glow
The midnight sun is the phenomenon of continuous daylight during summer in polar regions, when the sun remains visible even at midnight.
Areas within the Arctic and Antarctic circles experience weeks or months when the sun never fully sets: We traveled to Norway to see the midnight sun.
The term also describes the sun itself during this period.
