Lapland
Arctic Sámi homeland
Lapland is a region spanning northern Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia's Kola Peninsula, lying largely above the Arctic Circle.
It is the traditional homeland of the Sami people.
In popular culture, Lapland is associated with reindeer, the Northern Lights, and Santa Claus: We took the kids to Lapland to meet Father Christmas.
