breathe
Work your lungs
To breathe is to draw air into the lungs and expel it—the fundamental act of respiration.
Extended uses preserve the sense of air moving: fabrics that breathe allow air to pass through, wine breathes when exposed to air.
To breathe a word is to speak very softly or not at all: Don't breathe a word of this.
To breathe down someone's neck is to monitor them oppressively.
Breathe easy means relax.
