pair
Two that match
A pair is two of the same thing that form a natural combination (pair of socks, pair of eyes) or two complementary things in a fixed relationship (a mating pair).
Some wearable things that are a single object get called a pair (pair of glasses, pair of pants) because they have identical halves.
You pair one thing with another when you put them together in a useful way: The wine pairs nicely with the fish.
Electronic devices that pair are able to communicate with each other.
