jump squats
Explosive leg exercise
Jump squats are a plyometric exercise combining a standard squat with an explosive upward jump.
You lower into a squat position, then spring up forcefully, landing back in the squat to repeat.
The movement builds leg power and elevates heart rate: My trainer has me doing jump squats until my quads burn.
