high knees
Elevated leg jogging
High knees is an exercise where you jog in place while lifting each knee to hip level or higher in rapid succession.
It's a cardio and warm-up staple that elevates heart rate and engages the core: We started practice with two minutes of high knees.
The movement mimics an exaggerated running motion, building coordination and leg strength.
