habits
Patterns we repeat
Habits are behaviors repeated so regularly they become automatic.
A habit can be personal routine (her habit of reading before bed), an addiction (a drug habit), or a characteristic pattern (force of habit).
The word also names the distinctive garment worn by members of a religious order: a nun's habit.
