fishermen
Those catching seafood
Fishermen is the plural of fisherman—people who catch fish, whether commercially or for sport.
The term traditionally covers both professionals who make their living from the sea and recreational anglers: The fishermen hauled in their nets at dawn.
Though fishers has gained currency as a gender-neutral alternative, fishermen remains standard and is often used generically regardless of sex.
