fibroid
Benign womb mass
A fibroid is a benign tumor composed of fibrous tissue, most commonly found in the uterus.
Uterine fibroids affect many women, sometimes causing heavy bleeding or pain, though often producing no symptoms at all: The ultrasound revealed several small fibroids.
As an adjective, fibroid describes tissue that is fiber-like in structure.
