lipoma
Benign fat mass
A lipoma is a benign tumor composed of fatty tissue, typically forming a soft, movable lump just beneath the skin.
Lipomas grow slowly and are usually painless, appearing most often on the neck, shoulders, back, or arms.
They rarely require treatment unless they become bothersome or cosmetically unwanted: The doctor said the lump was just a lipoma.
