establishmentarianism
Supporting official structures
Establishmentarianism is support for an established order, particularly a state church.
The term arose mainly as the root of its opposite, antidisestablishmentarianism—famously one of the longest words in English—which opposed efforts to separate the Church of England from the state.
Outside discussions of that word, establishmentarianism rarely appears.
More broadly, it can describe defense of any entrenched institutional power structure.
