conservator
Museum preservation specialist
A conservator is a person responsible for preserving and protecting something valuable.
In museums, conservators repair and maintain artworks and artifacts: The conservator carefully cleaned the Renaissance painting.
In law, a conservator is appointed by a court to manage the affairs of someone unable to do so themselves—handling finances, property, or personal care for the incapacitated person.
