clinical death
No vital signs
Clinical death is the cessation of heartbeat and breathing—the point at which a person shows no vital signs.
Unlike biological death, clinical death can sometimes be reversed through CPR or other intervention.
He was in clinical death for three minutes before they resuscitated him.
The term distinguishes reversible cardiac arrest from permanent brain death.
