postmortem
After death analysis
Postmortem means after death.
A postmortem examination (or simply a postmortem) is an autopsy—a medical inspection of a corpse to determine cause of death.
The word extends to any analysis conducted after something ends: We held a postmortem on the failed campaign.
In computing and business, postmortems review what went wrong with a project or system failure.
