ROSC
Pulse resumes spontaneously
ROSC is a medical acronym for return of spontaneous circulation—the moment when a patient's heart resumes beating on its own after cardiac arrest.
It marks the transition from active resuscitation to post-arrest care: We got ROSC after twelve minutes of CPR.
The term appears in emergency medicine, critical care, and resuscitation research.
