liquid nitrogen
Flash-freezing coolant
Liquid nitrogen is nitrogen gas cooled to extremely low temperatures (around -196°C/-321°F) until it becomes a liquid.
It's used in cryogenics, food preparation, medicine, and scientific research for flash-freezing, preserving biological samples, and removing warts or other skin growths.
The vapor can displace oxygen in enclosed spaces, creating a suffocation hazard.
