Little hat noodles
Cappelletti are small stuffed pasta shaped like little hats or caps, traditional to the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy.
They resemble tortellini but are typically larger and folded differently, usually filled with meat, cheese, or a mixture of both.
Cappelletti are traditionally served in broth: We always have cappelletti in brodo on Christmas Day.
