bullwhip
Long leather lash
A bullwhip is a long, single-tailed whip traditionally used for herding cattle.
The tapered design allows the tip to exceed the speed of sound, producing a distinctive crack.
Bullwhips appear frequently in Western films and adventure stories: Indiana Jones and his bullwhip.
To bullwhip is to strike with one.
