Pasta with holes
Bucatini is a type of pasta similar to spaghetti but hollow through the center, like a thin tube.
The name comes from Italian for "little holes." The shape holds sauce both inside and out, making it popular with rich, clinging sauces like amatriciana: We ordered bucatini with pancetta and pecorino.
