capellini
Very thin spaghetti
Capellini is a very thin variety of Italian pasta, even finer than angel hair, with strands typically about 0.85 millimeters in diameter.
The name means "little hairs" in Italian.
Because of its delicacy, capellini cooks in just a few minutes and pairs best with light sauces that won't overwhelm or weigh down the thin strands.
The capellini was perfectly al dente with just a drizzle of olive oil and fresh tomatoes.
