blinker
Flashing lane changer
A blinker is a light that flashes on and off, especially the turn signal on a vehicle: Put your blinker on before you change lanes.
Blinkers (or blinders) are also leather flaps attached to a horse's bridle to restrict side vision and keep the animal focused ahead.
Figuratively, blinkers suggest narrow vision or willful ignorance: He's got blinkers on when it comes to his son's behavior.
