blinkers
Car's direction lights
Blinkers are leather or plastic shields attached to a horse's bridle to prevent the animal from seeing to the sides or rear, keeping its attention focused forward.
The term extends to any narrow perspective that limits awareness: He has blinkers on when it comes to his son's behavior.
In British English, blinkers also refers to a vehicle's turn signals, called blinkers or turn indicators in American English.
To be blinkered is to have a restricted outlook.
