Pipe-securing metal loops

U-bolts are U-shaped metal fasteners threaded on both ends, used to clamp pipes, tubes, or round objects to a surface.

The curved section wraps around the object while the threaded ends pass through a mounting plate and secure with nuts.

Common in automotive suspension systems, plumbing, and construction: The exhaust pipe is held in place by U-bolts.
