set screws
Grip without protruding
Set screws are headless screws designed to secure one object within or against another—typically holding a pulley, gear, or collar onto a shaft.
They thread entirely into a tapped hole, with no protruding head, and tighten against the mating surface using an internal hex or slotted drive.
The set screw keeps the knob from spinning freely on the stem.
