PCs

Non-Apple computers, briefly

PCs is the plural of PC, meaning personal computers—the desktop and laptop machines that became ubiquitous in homes and offices from the 1980s onward: Most offices still rely on PCs rather than tablets.

The term often contrasts with Macs, though technically all personal computers are PCs. (Lowercase pcs abbreviates pieces.)
