Cupertino desktop software
macOS is Apple's operating system for its Macintosh line of desktop and laptop computers, the successor to Mac OS X which itself replaced the classic Mac OS.
Pronounced "mac oh-ess," it provides the interface and core functionality for MacBooks, iMacs, and Mac Pros.
Major versions receive names like Sonoma, Ventura, and Monterey, typically California locales.
I prefer macOS for creative work but use Windows at the office.
