Bluetooth

Short-range radio standard

Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard for exchanging data over short distances between devices.

Named after a 10th-century Danish king who unified warring tribes, the technology connects phones, headphones, speakers, keyboards, and other electronics without cables: My Bluetooth headphones won't pair with my laptop.

As a verb, to Bluetooth something is to send it wirelessly: I'll Bluetooth you the photo.
