North American
From this continent
North American describes anything relating to the continent of North America or its inhabitants.
As a noun, a North American is a person from this region.
Though the continent includes Canada, the United States, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, the term often defaults to meaning Canadian or American: North American audiences responded well to the film.
This narrower usage can irritate Mexicans and others excluded by it.
