Myanmar is a country in Southeast Asia, also known as Burma.
The military government officially changed the name from Burma to Myanmar in 1989, though many English speakers and some governments continue using Burma, sometimes as a political statement rejecting military rule.
The refugee crisis in Myanmar has displaced millions.
