South Korea

Seoul is here

South Korea is a country occupying the southern half of the Korean Peninsula in East Asia.

Officially the Republic of Korea, it emerged from the 1945 division of Korea and the subsequent Korean War (1950–53), which left the peninsula split along the demilitarized zone.

South Korea developed from a war-devastated nation into a major economy known for electronics, automobiles, and popular culture exports like K-pop and Korean drama.

Samsung and Hyundai are South Korean companies.
