Rohingya
Stateless Muslim group
Rohingya refers to a Muslim ethnic group native to the Rakhine State of Myanmar (Burma).
The Rohingya have faced decades of persecution, denied citizenship by the Myanmar government, and subjected to mass violence that the United Nations has characterized as genocide.
