North Korea

Kim dynasty's domain

North Korea is a country occupying the northern half of the Korean Peninsula in East Asia, officially the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Established in 1948 after Korea's post-WWII division, it remains technically at war with South Korea.

The nation is known for authoritarian rule under the Kim dynasty, nuclear weapons development, and extreme isolation from the international community: North Korea conducted another missile test. (South Korea is the southern counterpart.)
