Latter Day Saints
Salt Lake faithful
Latter Day Saints are members of religious movements tracing their origins to Joseph Smith's 1830 founding of a church he said restored original Christianity.
The largest group is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, headquartered in Salt Lake City, whose members are commonly called Mormons.
The Book of Mormon is their central scripture alongside the Bible.
The Latter Day Saints sent missionaries to our neighborhood.
