Jimi Hendrix

Jimi Hendrix was an American rock guitarist and singer, widely considered the greatest electric guitarist in history.

His innovative techniques—feedback, distortion, wah-wah effects—transformed the instrument's possibilities.

He came to fame at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival and remains iconic for his incendiary performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Woodstock.

He died in 1970 at twenty-seven.
