Elvis Presley
Elvis Presley was an American singer and actor (1935–1977) whose fusion of country, blues, and gospel helped create rock and roll.
His charismatic performances and distinctive voice made him one of the most influential cultural figures of the twentieth century.
Often called simply Elvis or "the King," his name evokes 1950s rebellion, sequined jumpsuits, and an iconic status that transcends music: an Elvis impersonator, He's no Elvis.
