Hex

Game or character

Hex has two main clusters of meaning.

One involves witchcraft: a hex is a curse or spell, and to hex someone is to cast such a spell on them.

The other meaning comes from Greek for six: hexagonal describes a six-sided shape, and in computing, hex is shorthand for hexadecimal, the base-16 numbering system using digits 0-9 and letters A-F.

Someone must have hexed my car—it won't start.

The color code is in hex format.
