unbinding
Loosening the ties
Unbinding is the act of releasing something from bonds or constraints.
In computing, unbinding disconnects a variable or key from its assigned value or function.
In gaming and fantasy contexts, unbinding often refers to releasing magical bonds or freeing enchanted objects: The ritual of unbinding broke the curse.
The word can also describe loosening physical ties: She began unbinding the rope from his wrists.
