yarmulke
Small religious cap
A yarmulke is a small, round cap worn by Jewish men, especially during prayer or religious study.
Orthodox Jews often wear one at all times as a sign of reverence before God.
Also spelled yarmulka or called a kippah: He placed a yarmulke on his head before entering the synagogue.
